 Sony TCM-200DV cassette voice recorder May 23, 2010
This is an excellent product. Easy to use. Has double record time, if desired. Easy to use. Easy to install batteries and battery life is excellent. Very clear recording. Easy playback. I have been using this type of recorder for years and only have praise for it. Very dependable.
Great for studying May 13, 2010
I use the recorder for studying. I frequently record a sentence at a time. After serious consideration I decided to stay with the "less" cutting age technology because new digital recorders separate all my little recordings and most don't let you record over something you said without using an editing program. This works great for me. I love the easy access speed control and the double rec time. It also has a great battery life.
 Fair recorder for the money Apr 19, 2010
This small cassette player records fairly well. The built-in microphone is decent but I`ve noticed that on some recordings the sound of the machine actually comes through on the tape. Overall not too bad for the money.

I use this device to listen to books on tape at work in a wood shop. I owned one and it was stolen and I was heartbroken. I've tried maybe 5 other kinds and nothing comes close for battery life, ease of use, and compactness. I would highly recommend this tape recorder for anyone needing one. The speed control allows you to speed up, and the 2x switch allows you to get twice as much on a tape, only you have to play it back on this player or one that also allows for 2x recording/playing..

My daughter used the recorder to record children's books. She is delighted with it and finds it easy to use.
