Good for the price Feb 16, 2010 I purchased this picture frame for my mother as her Christmas present. She does love it and it sits on her desk at her work. The picture quality is great, but its not very customizable and its not the most user friendly of menus. It would be nice if the frame was interchangeable or if there were more viewing options, but for the price, I suppose I can't complain much :) If all you're doing is throwing a memory card in and letting it do its thing, its a wonderful picture frame
Disappointed Jan 30, 2010 It looks great, the quality of the picture was very good. However, it didn't perform as it should have. The pictures would hang up and would not cycle through. It also had a stutter every now and then where the picture would have a flash. It would occasionally turn a picture sideways. I was happy with the delivery of the product and the return procedure. We purchased another brand that was cheaper and it occasionally turns a picture sideways also, but eventually will turn it back, so I guess the technology on the digital frames could use a little sweaking in my experience.

Simply Horrendous Jan 25, 2010 This picture frame was intended as a gift for my father, but the first one I ordered corrupted all of the pictures that I placed on it making them some sort of Neon green or red or pink. I called the company I ordered it from, 47th Street Photo, and the first time around they were very polite and convivial, exchanging the frame at no charge. But the second frame I got also had a defect. The piece in the back that you screw the stand into was stripped bare and didn't work at all. Maybe I could have wasted my time and glued the damn thing on (obviously those factory workers in China had more important things to do like read Mao's Tse-Tung's autobiography or put lead paint on children's toys), but after already dealing with the first defective picture frame why bother? I called again and they will refund my money (I laughed for five minutes when the lady asked if I would like to exchange it again), but they didn't even apologize for this embarrassment. I will never buy an Opteka or use 47th street photo again.

DO NOT BUY THIS! Jan 09, 2010 Piece of junk. There are MUCH better units on the market. Stay away from this unit and 47th St. Camera. I wish I had. Have to load each photo individually, then it will not display all that have been loaded. I used all .jpg images, resized them to 800x600. Will not display more than about 125 images. TERRIBLE software and freezes up my computers, both XP and Vista, plus photo frame itself freezes. Wasted over 20 hours trying to get this junk to work correctly and I have been working with computers for 15 years. I can usually find a work around, but not with this product. Gave up on the internal memory (1 gig)and went to a memory card. Card worked fine in other devices. I reformatted it, still same poor results. Bought for an elderly relative. Buttons on remote too stiff for her to push and same with buttons on upper rear of unit. Poor menu system, when on the rare occasion it worked properly. Owners manual almost non existent. Do not bother trying to put photos in as a file. Will not work at all. Total pain. Unit is heavy, all glass front, shows finger prints easily. Bought from 47th Street Photo, big mistake. To return for refund have to pay 15% restocking, unspecified "handling", and shipping, plus you have to ship it back on your dime. Still waiting, 3 days and counting, on a return authorization number from 47th St. They have not responded. Not surprising considering their reputation which I found out after I ordered from them. Amazon should drop them.

Do not buy this product Jan 03, 2010 I tried to get this picture frame to work on two PCs running XP. On one machine it would freeze up the mouse requiring a reboot. On the second it took multiple times connecting to a USB port until the drive was recognized. Once I finally loaded picture the frame worked as expected but forget about trying to load other pictures. Frustrating and a waste of time. Don't buy this product.
