Great little photo printer May 22, 2010 I purchased this as a gift for my mother. She is extremely non-tech savy (e.g. can barely use a cell phone), so the ease of use was a huge factor for me. Also, she takes a picture of everything, so low cost of ownership was another consideration (currently around $.27/print). All things put together, this was the best pick.
I am surprised (in a good way) by the durability of this printer. She had previously owned a Kodak photo printer, but it didn't make it more than a year. She has had this for around a year and a half, and has put somewhere near 600 picture through it. So far, no issues at all.
She loves it. It's easy to use. Has worked fine with a handful of different camera brands (via USB cable). It's a pretty good little photo printer.

Great Printer at an Incredible Price Mar 01, 2010 This is a great photo printer and when they say it's compact, they really mean it! The printer is easy to set up, so you can get started almost immediately. You simply plug your camera USB cable in and select the photos you want to print. The photo prints come out sharp and clear with vivid colors. I would say the prints are just as good or better than photos you get from services such as Snapfish or Clarke Photo Lab. I have found that it is best not to scrimp on photo paper, it makes a huge difference when you use the good stuff. If someone would have told me that I could get high quality photo prints from a printer that was smaller than a bread box, I would not have believed them. But it is true.

Outdated Feb 08, 2010 I used the startup ink jet and paper to try the printer and it was workable. Although the photo going in and out of the printer seemed odd and slow. The major issue was when I went to purchase the ink jet cartridge and paper, neither was available at well-known office supply stores. One manager said he stopped carrying them a year ago because of lack of demand. Also the ink jet and paper are sold as one unit so you have to buy only Canon replacements and only together. I returned mine for refund, which I received minus the return shipping costs.

Great Dye Sublimation Photo Printer Feb 03, 2010 Was researching dye sublimation printers for our company. Wanted a quality product with cost effective supplies. This Canon printer is compact, delivers photo shop quality 4 x 6 photos (believe this is the only size it will print), and is very reasonably priced.

disappointed customer Jan 30, 2010 When I purchased this item, I thought it was what I wanted, but when I put it together and I discovered that I would have to get a compactflash card adapter for XD picture card. If I would have known this I could not have purchased this item. It never stated
that it wasn't compatible for an XD picture card. I have been trying to find an adapter but to no available, so this compact photo printer was a waste of my money and time.
